George Horsfall Frodsham was an Anglican bishop in the early 20th century.〔(National Library of Australia )〕 Frodsham was born in Cheshire on 14 September 1863.〔Who was Who 1987-1990: London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 0-7136-3457-X〕 He was educated at Birkenhead School and University College, Durham and ordained in 1888.〔''Ordinations Ripon'' The Times Tuesday, 24 September 1889; pg. 10; Issue 32812; col E〕 His first positions were curacies at St Thomas’ Leeds and St Margaret’s Ilkley.〔"The Clergy List, Clerical Guide and Ecclesiastical Directory" London, John Phillips, 1900〕 From 1896 he was Rector of St Thomas’ Toowong, Queensland and then chaplain to the Bishop of Brisbane. From 1902 to 1913 he was the Bishop of North Queensland. On his return to England he was a canon residentiary at Gloucester Cathedral.
